About Us/History
In the fall of 2002, we bit into our first Honeycrisp apples...MINDBLOWING! That spring, we began planting Honeycrisp apple trees on our 22 acre family farm. A few years later, we began selling our apples locally in grocery stores and farmers' markets. The response to our quality was phenominal! We built our Farm Store in 2010, and now sell most of our fruit right off the farm.
Our season starts late August and continues until the beginning of November. Check our "Harvest Schedule" for variety availability. We are commited to providing our customers with the best locally grown apples available in the western Wisconsin (Cashton, Viroqua, Sparta, Tomah, La Crosse) area!
A couple of our children still help around the farm in various ways - picking, grading, packing and selling our apples. We pack into a variety of containers: 5lb, 10lb & 20lb lbs poly drawstring bags; as well as bushel boxes.
Our farm store also makes the best apple Cider Donuts, freshly baked Pies (made to order), apple and cherry Turnovers, hand-dipped gourmet Caramel Apples. Our Country Farm Store is open daily with lots of unique gifts to choose from.
Every year we add something new...stop in to see "what's up" at Maple Ridge Orchard! Our goal is to provide a family-friendly place to visit, offer great-tasting treats and superior made in the USA products and gifts...did I mention the absolute best Honeycrisp apples ever?!
